John Findlay

John Boyd Ralston Findlay

John passed away on August 27, 2020 from complications of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). He will be fondly remembered by his sister Patricia, her husband, Douglas and their three children, Andrew (Victoria), Lindsay (Marcio) and Scott (Jennifer). He was very proud to be a Great Uncle to Alasdair, Isabel, Helena, Adeline and Edith. Happy memories will also be cherished by John's former wife and best friend, Robin Keeler and her extended family.

John was born on December 14, 1950, the son of John and Mabel Findlay. John found much joy in his Scottish heritage and when sailing the waters of Lake Ontario. His personality was larger than life and was well suited to his career as a television Director and Producer.

The family and Robin would like to thank John's many friends who helped to keep his spirits positive through these past several years while living with ALS. In particular, sincere thanks to Dan, Susan and Debbie. Also, many thanks to the staff at Tobias House where John lived for the past 7 years.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life planned for a later date when we can once again gather. If desired, donations in John's memory can be made to the ALS Society.
