John Corney

Corney – John “Jack” (Past President Brampton Rotary Club)

Passed away at home on Tuesday December 21st 2010 following a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Margaret and dear father of John and Debbie. John spent many years with the Assessment Office with Toronto Township and became the clerk for the Town of Mississauga. He also was the first civilian administrator with the Peel Police Department and served alongside Chief Burrows, Deputy Chief Teggart and Staff Sergeant Don Fletcher as well as a muriad of civilian and uniformed personnel from 1974-1990.

Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton on Wednesday (December 29th) from 7- 9 pm and Thursday (December 30th) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society
