Our beloved Dad, Poppa and friend passed away peacefully Sunday August 6, 2017. John has joined his loving wife, Toni, to continue their dance. Proud father to Ted (Linda) and the late Eutonnah. cherished grandfather to Jeff, Kelly and Kia and great-grandfather (Poppa) to Cloey and Willa.
John will be remembered fondly by his many friends both here and around the world, also by his family in Hungary and the USA.
John held a Ph.D. and was a Professor and Consultant with the Faculty of Forestry, he held several patents in the wood industry. Over the years John taught many qraduate students at the University of Toronto who will remember him as a caring and supportive mentor.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral home; 4671 Highway #7 (just west of Pine Valley Drive) Woodbridge; 905-851-9100 on Thursday August 10, from 4-8 pm, service will be held on Friday August 11, at 11 am.
