We are saddened to announce the passing of Joao Luis Baganha who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 8, 2024, at the age of 88.
Joao was survived by his loving wife Maria and four children, Anna Barranquiero (Mario), John Baganha (DonnaLee), Lucie Imbiscuso (Roberto), and Robert Baganha (Andrea).
Joao will be dearly missed by his nine grandchildren, Justin (Marissa), Stephanie (Tony), Domenic (Justine), Ashleigh (Mario), Marceillo (Virginia), Julianna (Cale), Madison (Jess), Gabrielle and Nicholas.
As well as his five great-grandchildren Mya, Nathan, Matteo, Sophia, and Kiara
Joao was a roofer for over 30 years. He was a hard worker and provided well for his family. He enjoyed life especially when surrounded by his family.
The visitation period will be at Ward Funeral Home at 52 Main Street South, Brampton on Monday, February 12th from 4-9 pm. Followed by a funeral service at Our Lady of Fatima on Tuesday, February 13th at 9:30 am.
