Joan Stammers

STAMMERS, Joan E. - (WWII Veteran, Serving in the Army Territorial Services A.T.S.) Peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, in her 85th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur (2007). Loving mother of Graeme (Elaine) and Brian (Linda). Cherished grandmother of Mari-Anne, Timothy (Jennifer), Natalie, Lisa (Lyle); and great-grandchildren Thurstyn, Alyssa, Amelia and Milo. Dear sister of Kathleen Litchfield and brother-in-law of Harry (Mary Lou). Joan will be lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Philip's Churchyard.
