Joan Nagamatsu

Nagamatsu, Joan (Over 25 year employee of Fabricland) – after a brief and courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, November 09, 2013 at the Humber River Regional Hospital – Church Site in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Tori for 52 wonderful years. Loving and caring mother of Don and Neil. Cherished sister of Harue Baba (Late Tatsuo), Misako Mori (Shozo), Matsuko Baba (Hideo), brother Shigeo Murakami (Janice) and Late Hiroyuki Murakami (Maureen). Fondly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joan will always be remembered for her love of helping people. Very special thanks to her co-workers at Fabricland head office for treating her so well, looking after her and regarding her like as a mother figure. At Joan’s request cremation has taken place and a private family funeral will follow. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy, donations to the Toronto Buddhist Church would be greatly appreciated.
