Joan McAdam

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Joan McAdam on Sunday August 28, 2022 in her 87th year. Loving Mother to Debby (Mike), Greg (Beverly), Chris (Ron), Shelly (Les), Lizz (Derek) and Roy Jr. (Yvonne). She will be greatly missed by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Joan was predeceased by Roy, whom she shared a lifelong friendship and companionship with. She will also be missed by her brother, Darrell (Rita).
Joan was born in Cape Breton and along with Roy and family moved to Toronto in 1966. She had a 30 year career working for the Bank of Montreal and according to her, she was always the boss. Her biggest joy was having her family visit her up north in the Summer and Florida in the Winter. All were happily greeted with their favourite delicious home cooked meals.
She loved family get togethers and was always excited to play a game of cards with her loved ones.
Her big smile and big heart will be missed by all and never forgotten.
