Joan Hutchins

On April 1, 2020, Joan Hutchins died peacefully at Bethell Hospice, Inglewood, ON at 84 years old due to Cancer. Loving Mother of Deborah (Mike) and Philip (David), and sister of Alan (his wife Valerie and their children Chris and Patrick). Pre-deceased by her sister Margaret and their parents Edward and Ellen.


Joan was very active in her community including Chinguacousy Garden Club, Brampton Historical Society, The Church of the Holy Family in Brampton, Young at Heart and she enjoyed line dancing at the Seniors Centre.


Joan and her children would like to thank the many friends who shared love, support and prayers including: Norma, Diane, Shirley, Jacqueline, Kay, Jacqui, Barbara, Joan J, Albertine and Graham, Lori, Dawn, Bobbie and many others.


The family would also like to especially thank the Church of the Holy Family including Reverend Julie and Deacon Judy for their love and spiritual guidance, all of the health care workers at Brampton Civic Hospital: Palliative Care and the entire team at Bethell Hospice. As per her wishes, Joan will be cremated.


We will be having a Celebration of Life at the Holy Family Church in Brampton, as soon as it’s safe to do so (due to Co-vid 19) and we will update everyone when those final arrangements are confirmed.
