Joan Harper

HARPER, Joan Katherine (nee Adamson) - August 10, 1933 -- October 20, 2009 Passed away suddenly but peacefully surrounded by family in Brampton at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Bob. Loving mother of Lee (Kari) and Brad (Carole). Loving grandma of Tara (Jean-Paul), Lindsay, Ellen, Robert, Kelsey, Rachel and Kaitlyn. Cherished great-grandmother of Vincent and Myra. Predeceased by her sister Marion McGowan. Joan lived for her family and will be dearly missed. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the loving care provided by the ICU staff at Brampton Civic Hospital, especially Patti, R.N. There will be no formal service. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
