Hamilton, Joan Antonette
Born April 20 1955 in North Bay, Ontario, passed away on April 4 2015 in Toronto. Joan married Richard in North Bay in 1974, with whom she had two children. Joan is predeceased by her parents, Elmer Stillar and Rita Straus, brother Robert Stillar, sister Marie Kinnear, and father-in-law James Hamilton. She is survived by her husband Richard, her son Alex and his wife Amy, her daughter Adrienne, and her mother-in-law Pauline Hamilton-Manarin. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Angela Baxter, Carol Bridgman, Rita Gouett, Paul Stillar, Monica Hess, Alan Stillar, Donald Stillar, Emily Stillar, Brian Stillar, Barry Stillar, and Glenn Stillar, and by her brothers-and sisters-in-law Robert Hamilton, Ross Hamilton, Susan Agnel-Peacock, Jennifer Hamilton, and Daphne Hamilton Lee. Joan will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Funeral service will be held in Toronto at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (2 lights North of Lawrence) on Thursday April 9 at 4:00 p.m., preceded by visitation from 3:00 p.m. Please visit her Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com.
