Peacefully on Wednesday January 16th, 2019 at the age of 84.
Beloved mom of Denise Spinney and her partner Ray Crosato. Cherished grandma of Jeff, and of Adam and his wife Shannon. Doting great-grandma of Lily, and Haley. Dear sister of Shirley Jesson. Remembered by Ray’s children Joe and his wife Kathy, Nicole, and of Melanie and her husband Chris; and by Ray’s grandchildren Sophie, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Leo and Clayton. Predeceased by her son-in-law Larry Spinney. Joan will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Sunday January 20th, 2019 from 12:30pm until the time of service in the chapel at 2pm.
Interment to take place on Monday at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
