After a short but courageous battle with cancer, it is with such sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Jim at the age of 91.

He will be so missed by his daughter Susan (Jim), sons Gary, and Ian (Laura), Stepdaughter Carole(Barry), and his grandchildren Shannon, Kevin, Danielle, Matthew, Joshua, Madeline, Debbie and Steve and great grandchildren Braiden, Ethan,Sophie, Katie, Peter, Morgan and Griffin. He is predeceased by his parents, and his beloved wife Frances (2005).

Born in the UK, imigrated to Canada in 1952 where he enjoyed a rewarding career as a Quality Control Manager in the Automotive industry until retirement.

Pte. James Antrobus joined The Worcestershire Regiment in the UK shortly after WWII, participated in the Berlin Airlift, and served until he came to Canada. He then joined the Lorne Scots Regiment and retired as RSM (CWO) J. Antrobus CD. He was active in the Royal Canadian Legion for over 50 years, and an advisor and mentor to an army Cadet Corps in Campbellford On.

Jim lived his life to the fullest, very active, with many interests and pursuits such a his long lasting passion for fishing, golf ,and the cottage life he and his wife Fran loved so much.
