"Jim" Alexander Pitman

PITMAN, Alexander James 'Jim' - Passed away peacefully at Holland Christian Homes on January 4, 2010 at the age of 74. Survived by his beloved wife Jacky of 48 years. Cherished dad of Colleen, Cathy and Jim (Sandy). Proud and loving papa of Stephanie and Katelyn. Brother of Bill and brother-in-law of Jeannine (John) Macpherson and Jack (Betty-Ann) Kidd. Jim will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and his 2 loyal friends 'Dutchess' and 'Abby'. Jim was a longtime member of St. Bartholomew's United Church in Brampton and also the British Canadian Club, and was a past volunteer for many years with the Brampton Minor Baseball Association. He will be sadly missed by his friends and former colleagues at Ford Motor Company, Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 'Brampton Chapel', 52 Main St. S. (Hwy. 10), Brampton on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Bartholomew's United Church (22 Abbey Rd., Brampton) on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 1 p.m., followed by interment at Brampton Cemetery.
