October 2, 1930 – January 25, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Jean Marie Parsonage (nee Murchie) who passed away on January 25th at the age of 94. Jean is predeceased by her husband Harold, her son Gord, her brother Skipp. She is survived by her sister Maggie, her children Sharon (Ted Stiles) and Jack (Patricia), her grand-children Amy (Lance), Jessica (Mark), Claire (John), Erica (Ryan), Emma, Stacey, Eli, and her great-grandchildren Celeste, Lindsay Jean, Carter, Isla, Elsie, Melina and Cliff. Jean will be missed by many nieces and nephews, friends, Aquafit gals, and neighbours. 

Jean will always be remembered for her infectious smile. She saw beauty in everything and everyone. We will forever miss the ray of sunshine she shone on everyone.

The family would like to thank the staff and many volunteers at Lisaard House, Cambridge for their wonderful care during her last six months. You made her time there enjoyable and comfortable for all of us.

Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, located at 2035 Weston Road on Thursday February 6th from 12:30pm until the Memorial Service at 1:30pm. Following the service, all guests are welcome to gather for a memorial luncheon at the Weston Chapel
