Jean Helena Tait McLaughlin, Passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021 at home after a life well-lived. She was born in Toronto on March 23, 1932 to Florence and William Tait, and settled in Brampton in 1952 after marrying the love of her life, Robert "Noggin" McLaughlin. They were married for more than 40 years before his passing in 1993. Jean enjoyed a long career at American Motors Chrysler. She was a world traveler, social butterfly, card shark at the euchre tables and loved spending her summers at the cottage with her family. Jean is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Meisner and Lorrie Graham, sons-in-law, Jim(d.) and Murray, and grandchildren Sarah, Madeline, and Blair (Tara). She is also survived by her chosen children, the Cuthberts: Shelley (Mark), Paul (Claudette), Brent (Kathy), and Sharon (Gord). A private funeral service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10:30am. Zoom details will be available at www.wardfuneralhomes.com In place of flowers, donations can be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society to honour Jean's love of animals.
