Jean Jeffrie

JEFFRIE, JEAN RUBY (née Knapp) May 2, 1922 to January 11, 2018. At 95 years old, Jean passed away peacefully in the company of loved ones. Predeceased by her loving parents George and Cecile Knapp. Jean was one of thirteen children and was predeceased by all of her siblings except her beloved brother Lloyd Knapp. Jean was also predeceased by her son-in-law Garth and her cherished grandson Jason. In addition to her brother Lloyd, Jean is survived by her five daughters Brenda, Sharon, Laurine, Sandra, Charlene and their respective spouses and by her many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and her large, extended Knapp family‎. Jean was exceptionally proud of her nursing career, especially her work as a palliative care nurse. Her family would like to extend their thanks to the palliative care team at the McCall Center for their tender care of Jean in the last few weeks of her life. Jean will be cremated and a celebration of her life and the burial of her ashes in the family plot outside of Brockville will take place sometime later this year. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
