With sadness, Jean's family wishes to announce her passing which took place on Monday September 16, 2013. Beloved mother of Peter (Gail), Judy (Douglas), blessed Paul, and Grant (Leslie). Proud grandmother of Samantha and Lindsay. Jean's father James, dear mother Hilda, and much loved brother Andrew predeceased her. She is survived by her loving sister Margaret Scobie of Calgary. The family would graciously like to thank the staff and volunteers at Bethell House Hospice for their care and kindness throughout her stay. Memorial donations made to Bethell House would be greatly appreciated by Jean's family. As requested by Jean, a private family visitation was held at Ward Funeral Home, Brampton, cremation followed.
