Jean Freeman

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Jean while surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018; at the age of 83.
She is predeceased by her loving parents Charles and Maria Hathway, brother Charlie, sisters Dorothy, Elsie, Shirley and Vera, husband Don and son Donnie.
Beloved mother to Debbie (Carl) and Kim. Loving grandmother to Jason and Sean. Dear sister to Dave, Helen, Alvin and Adelaide.
Known as "mom" to Heather and Leanne and "grandmother" to Rosa, Michael, Erin, Catherine and Ryan. Dear friend of Marge and Joan.
Jean was a devoted, loving and caring person who enjoyed her Tim Horton's, a good round of bingo or simply kicking back to watch old classics on Deja View. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home (2025 Weston Road, Toronto) on Monday from 2:00-4:00, and 6:00-9:00 pm.
A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
