Jean Aitken

Jean Elizabeth Aitken-formerly Wood (Nanny Jean) passed away suddenly on Thursday November 3, 2016 at Brampton Civic Hospital due to complications from surgery in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Jim Aitken, Sister Kaye Stonehouse and son Jim Aitken (Debby). Jean is survived by her children, Roz Leslie (Lorne), Kelly Vogel (Bruno), and John Aitken (Gillian). Grandmother to Richard Vogel (Tom), Lee-Ann Leslie-Augustine (Jay), Matthew Vogel (Laura), Amy Leslie (Mat), Jim Aitken, Dan Leslie (Laurie), Rob Aitken (Julia), and James Aitken. Great Grandmother to Jaylee Leslie-Augustine, Presley and London Vogel and Rowan Goulet. Sister in law to Bob Aitken (Carole) and Peter Lee. Beloved Aunt and Great Aunt to Laurie (Doug), Shelly (Dennis), Danielle, Nicole, Jaqueline, Ethan, Andrew, Bobby (Joanne), Michael (Monica). She was also loved by many more family members Jackie, Laura, Brenda and countless friends. Jean will be sadly missed by all the lives that she touched. Memories and stories of her life will live on forever. We love you MOM. Be at peace.
