Passed away with her husband James Potter by her side at Cheltenham Nursing Home in Toronto, Ontario, on September 12, 2022.
Janice had just turned 74.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Trevor Buckley and her much loved son Michael James Potter and son-in-law Doug Thurman.
Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her husband James, her daughter Karen Thurman, her brother Peter Buckley (Laura), her brother-in-law Craig (Barb) and sister-in-law Debbie (Dale).
She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews as well as her family in Guernsey and Australia and her friends.
The family will receive friends at Ward Funeral Home (2035 Weston Road, Toronto) on September 26, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 followed by memorial service and then refreshments.
Burial will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Covenant House Toronto would be appreciated.
