Janet Rosalie McEachran (nee Green)
born July 4, 1938 passed away June 26, 2014.
Janet is survived by her devoted husband Duncan, her daughters Ann Hamilton (Mark) and Carol VandenHoek (Ray) and her loving grandson Steven Duncan Hamilton.
Also survived by her much loved family in England, her sisters Moreen Gamson and her husband Jim, Shirley Challen and her husband Maurice, and Christine Eggleston and her husband Don. Predeceased by her brother Brian and her parents Fred and Rose. She will be missed by her many friends whose company she cherished.
Janet was born in London, England and her early memories were of being evacuated during the 'blitz' of WWII. As a young woman Janet immigrated to Canada. During her crossing of the Atlantic on the Empress of France she met her future husband Duncan. They lived in Toronto before settling in Bramalea to raise their family.
Janet died suddenly but peacefully at home.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel” 52 Main Street South,( Hwy. 10) Brampton on Monday after 12 noon for a service in the Chapel at 1:30 pm. Private family interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Visit the Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com
