Loving mother, devoted grandmother, graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School, Class of 1954. Compassionate, intelligent and vibrant, deeply loved and profoundly missed by her children and their spouses, Mary & Rip Riopelle, Carolyn & James Jones, Lorna McMillin & Lincoln Hosking, Andrew & Emily McMillin, she will be forever in our hearts. Amazing grandmother to Ryley, Marissa, Jared, Jenna, Drew, Robbie and Kate, each of whom she adored. She loved her family with every fibre of her being, and took great interest in the pursuits and accomplishments, large or small, of her children and grand-children. Dr. Jane was a dedicated physician who practiced family medicine in Weston for over fifty years, providing attentive and empathetic care to her many patients. She was a remarkable and unique woman who found and created humour in everyday events and who was cherished for her imagination and originality. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm at the Weston Golf & Country Club, 50 St. Phillip’s Road, Toronto, ON. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Toronto Medical School or a charity of your choice.
