Jane (Jean) Carmel Conway

Jane (Jean) Carmel Conway slipped away from us on Wednesday, November 13th, 2013 and will join those who predeceased her, including her loving husband of almost 60 years, Richard Douglas (2005), her daughter Noleen (1961), her sons Sean (1991), Brian (2005) and Michael (2013).

Jean was born in Dublin, Ireland in July 1925 and immigrated to Canada arriving at Malton International in April 1958 with her seven children where she happily joined her husband Richard who had immigrated to Canada arriving in November 1956 to start a new life for their family.

Jean was a loving mother to her children, Mary, Alacoque, Richard (Yvonne), Jane, Christopher, Ellen (Gary) and Bridget (Brad), and daughter in law Joyce and Nana to her much loved grandchildren, Kevin, Tina (Mike), Jason, Jennifer (Tony), John (Jayne), Stephen, Matthew, Laura (Jonathan), RJ, Phil, Brendan, Katie, Lisa, Nicholas, Alexander, Austin and Claire. Jean was blessed with four great grand-children; Ethan, Ryan, Mya and Joshua whom she would have cherished just as much.

Jean will be missed by her family back home in Dublin, including brother, Tom, and sisters, Vera and Betty and her numerous nieces and nephews.

Our family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at Tall Pines Long Term Care Centre as well as her loyal companion Yvonne and the other PSWs who assisted Mum on the last part of her journey through life to God's hands.

May God Bless and keep you Mum until we meet again.
