James (Jimmy) William Young, 65
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, James (Jimmy) Young at the Humber River Regional Hospital on Friday, December 12, 2014 in Toronto, Ontario. He was born December 17, 1948 to Joseph and Eunice (Barry) Young in St. George’s, Newfoundland. Jimmy had many passions in his life and work was one of them, he gave 40 years of his life to Coca Cola and he loved every minute of it, his co-workers were very much his second family. His cat Bella was his joy and you can say it was a love/hate relationship most of the time. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly each one of them had their special relationship with him. He loved working on cars and you can say he was a self taught mechanic; he enjoyed working on neighbours cars and showing them how to fix it even though he would not let them touch it. Jimmy was very routine person from getting up to go to work to coming home and watching Young and the Restless. He loved spending time with his friends and family, listening to music loudly and having a good time.
Survivors include his Common-law partner Mary Langdon; his 4 daughters, Linda (John) Carrino of Brampton, Ontario, Wanda (Ron) Muise of Hilden, Nova Scotia, Paula (Antonio) Marchese of Truro, Nova Scotia, and Jaime (Joe ) Duval-Kavanagh of Truro, Nova Scotia; 7 grandchildren Jennifer, John, Sabrina, Joseph, Jenna, Jessica and Jace; 2 sisters Vera Young-Cummings of Montreal, Quebec, and Shirley Young Savannah of Texas; 6 brothers Hilary Young of Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland, Roger Young of Kitchener, Ontario, Terry Young of Port au Choix, Newfoundland, Colin Young of Port au Choix, Newfoundland, JJ Fitzpatrick of Oromocto, New Brunswick, and Alan Young of St. John’s, Newfoundland; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
