James Ravenscroft

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Ravenscroft on September 7, 2023, at Hospice Vaughan surrounded by his family. Beloved husband, father & grandfather.

Loving husband to Victoria Ravenscroft ‘nee Spensieri’. Cherished father of Alex Ravenscroft. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended family.

His friends and family will remember him as a kind, selfless & caring man who would do anything for his loved ones. James loved photography, watches, old sci fi movies, classic cowboy western tv shows and had a profound attachment to dogs and cats. He will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

James and his wife Victoria loved to travel, they have enjoyed their time both in the East and West coast, as well as their time in Italy, Mexico and Florida. A man with deep belief and love for the Lord, he leaned on his faith in Christ especially through the difficult times in his life. He was, is and always will be the light in all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Clare of Assisi Church (150 St. Francis Ave., Woodbridge) Monday, September 11, 2023 at 9:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
