Peacefully surrounded by love on October 24, 2014 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Joyce Mummery of 57 years. Loving father of Christie Helik (Tony), Gord (Kim), and John. Proud grandpa of Jamie Lee and Jack Mummery, James and Rob Helik, great grandfather to Olivia. Survived by sisters Enid, Pat and brother Bill. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel” 52 Main Street South, (Hwy 10), Brampton on Wednesday from 12:00 – 1:00p.m. followed by a service in the chapel. Cremation to follow. A special thank you to the Cardiac/Palliative Care Team under direction of Dr. Loretta Daniel (Cardiologist) at the Toronto General Hospital for their compassion and love.
