James (Jim) Laver
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Christine Venick-Laver. Father of Dianne Campbell (Peter), Jimmy Laver, and Michael Venick (Jennifer). Devoted grandfather of Amanda and Erin Campbell; and Matthew and Jessica Venick. Jim will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221), on Tuesday from 2- 4 and 6-8p.m. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 1p.m.in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated. A Book of Memories may be signed at www.wardfuneralhome.com
