It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of James “Jim” King on October 7, 2023, at Humber River Hospital. Beloved son of the late George and Eleanor King. He will be dearly missed by his spouse Irene, sons Adam (Jennifer), Jason, and his stepchildren Michael (Beverley), and Laura (Ken). Jim was a loving grandfather to Anna, Sarah, Rylie and Caden. Dear brother of Bonnie (Jack). He will be fondly remembered by his niece Donna and her children Josh and Amaya.
Jim worked at Northern Telecom for his entire career. He enjoyed the outdoors, specifically his cottage in Bracebridge, Muskoka.
Visitation will take place on Sunday October 22, 2023, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. with a service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home “Weston Chapel” 2035 Weston Road, Toronto.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada are appreciated.
