James D’Arcy Coon born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario to John D’Arcy Coon and Eva (Riley) Coon. He married his high school sweetheart Carol Anne (Ambler) Coon on November 20, 1965. The most loved and looked up to father of D’Arcy (Sandra), Jamie (Lee Ann), Brian, Lynn (Carlos). Loving and fun grandfather to Rory, Fynn, Michael, Annalise, Sophie, Catherine, James, and Karmen. James will be lovingly remembered by the families of late Brian Ambler, Dixon Ambler, and Nancy Holden. Brother of Barry Coon and sister in law Betty Coon, nephews Michael and Lance. James graduated Weston Collegiate 1959, achieved chartered accountant CA designation 1962, achieved MBA from Western Richard Ivey School of Business 1969. Successfully managed and directed several industrial companies over a 45 year career. Enjoying his final professional years with Epps in Clinton/Goderich ON. He was devoted throughout his life to his wife and children. Always at any sporting, academic, or social event for his family. A true athlete and adventurer who lived to play hockey, baseball, downhill ski, fly small engine airplanes, sail on his Ketch - Trilogy on Lake Huron, paddle and trip down northern Ontario rivers throughout his life. A passion for theatre and classical music. Never a dull moment is his life, always an adventure full of surprise events and challenges, all with him landing on his feet, "business as usual" with his family in tow.
