James Campbell

James Edward Campbell (March 14, 1947-April 24, 2022). James passed away suddenly in his 76th year following a brief but heroic battle with cancer. He was a dedicated federal civil servant for 38yrs, and received the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal for his tireless dedication to public service. Son of the late Anne Georgina McKenzie and the late Thomas Henry Campbell. James is survived by his wife of 50yrs, Susan, his daughter Mary Victoria (Ian Cox-Leigh), and his sister Barbara Voigt. Per his wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Friends of James who wish to remember him may make a donation to Doctors Without Borders or Egale Canada.
