Jacqueline MacIntyre

MacIntyre, Jacqueline Lucy – born on September 16, 1927 in Essex, England, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2017 a week shy of her 90th birthday. Her transatlantic journey from England aboard the Winnipeg was marred by a submarine torpedo which sunk the vessel but they were subsequently rescued by the Corvette Morden. Jacqueline enjoyed her life in Canada, marrying John “Jack” MacIntyre, whom predeceased her and raising her children Harold, Bill and Brenda. Cherished grandmother of Jeanette, Christopher, Laura, Matthew and Jennifer and great grandchildren Nicholas, Lia, Tatiana, Andriano, Daniel and Bianca. She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends and especially her furry friend Buddy. At Jacqueline’s request no visitation or service will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations to either the Toronto Humane Society or the OSPCA would be greatly appreciated.
