Worms, Jacobus Johannes Jacques passed away peacefully at home on Sunday November 13, 2016 surrounded by family. Loving husband of Marie-Louise for 57 years. Devoted father to Miriam (Doug) and Irene (Bob). Cherished Opa of Heather, Renee, Zachary and Richard. Jacques was born in The Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1958. A kind and gentle man with a terrific sense of humour, he was always ready to help those in need. Jacques began his work life as a blacksmith and always maintained a profound love of animals. He honed his skills as a machinist with the Rolls Royce aircraft division, working to the highest standards of precision. After retirement, he continued to delight friends, family and those who purchased his beautifully crafted metalworks.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 66A Main Street. S.,(Hwy#10) Brampton at 2PM on Monday November 21. Reception to follow at Branch 15 Royal Canadian Legion, 80 Mary St.,Brampton (One Block East of the Church.)
