Ivano Ceolin

It is with profound sadness the family informs you of the passing of Ivano Ceolin. Ivano passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Ivano was born April 12, 1931, in Mogliano Veneto, Italy to the late Goffredo and Elvira Ceolin. Beloved husband of Liana married for 66 wonderful years. Loving father of Fred (Linda) & Anna (Mauro). Proud grandfather of Andrew, Alexander & Luke. Ivano was predeceased by his brother Giuliano and survived by his sister-in-law Clara, and Gina (Giovanni). He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces Louisa (Joe), Sandra (Carlo), Paola (John), Cathy (Nico), and nephew Donato (Holly), along with extended family and friends in both Canada and Italy. An enthusiastic traveler, he enjoyed his annual visits to Italy and Florida in recent years. He enjoyed playing bocci and watching a good soccer match. Ivano was a kind and simple person who loved spending time with family and friends. A visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 10:00 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to donate to a charity of your choice.
