Ivan Aitchison

AITCHISON, Ivan - Proud Freemason for over 50 years of Mount Dennis and Brampton Lodges. Passed away peacefully in his 82nd year with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Ivan is survived by Dorothy Aitchison. Loving father of Gary and Susan, Glenn and Barb and Scott. Cherished grandfather of Chalene, Travais, Colin, Jacqueline, Heather and Sean. Ivan will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and all that knew him. A special thank you to all the staff at Brampton Civic Hospital and to the caregivers of Home Instead Senior Care, Brampton for their care and support. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
