Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni. Proud mother of Silvana and her husband Tony Greco, Enzo and his wife Caterina. Proud “Nonna” of Roberto Greco and his wife Nenzi, Liana and her husband Anthony Howell, Sara and her husband Daniel Tedesco, and great grandmother to Anthony and Michael Greco. Italia will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
Born in Frosinone, Italy, but truly a proud Canadian.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Monday from 6-9 pm, and on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Airways Church, 7407 Darcel Ave, Mississauga on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at 10am. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
