We announce the passing of Issam Constantine Stavrou, who suddenly passed away on December 29, 2024 at St. Michael’s Hospital. Born on November 13, 1959, in Tripoli, Lebanon, to Layla & Constantine Stavrou.

Reunited with his beloved wife Vera. Beloved father of Lilette (Mike) & Andy (Cristina). Cherished Jido of Luca, Alessandro, Antonio, Mateo & Alaia. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his large extended family & friends.

The void Issam leaves behind is a testament to the profound impact he had on all of us. Yet, in that absence, we find the inspiration to live as he did: with humour, kindness, and boundless love.

An honest and hardworking man, his friends and family will remember him as a kind, gentle and caring man. His eyes lit up when he was surrounded by his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. His love for his family was like no other. There are no words to describe his immeasurable love for them and the joy they brought him.

Memorial donations may be made in Issam's name to the SickKids Foundation.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge). Friends and family members are invited to pay their respects during this time. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ward Funeral Homes, Woodbridge Chapel. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
