Peacefully at The Dorothy Ley Hospice on Tuesday August 5th, 2014, Isobel passed away with her family by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Leslie (2005) of 61 years. Dearly loved mom of Lynn and her husband John Childs of Haliburton and of Bev and her late husband Bruce Mathew ( 2007) of Streetsville. Proud and loving grandma of Heather, Carolyn, Lindsay (Sanjay) and Rob. Isobel will be fondly remembered by her many neighbours and friends who have given her valuable support over the last few months. Isobel was a lifetime resident of Weston, a faithful member of Central United Church, and an avid bridge player and curler for many years at the Weston Golf and Country Club.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
A Celebration of Isobel’s Life will be held at Central United Church, 1 King Street Weston on Monday August 11th, 2014 at 11:30am. Interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens. .
