IRENE "RENE" STRAND nee (JEMMETT)

February 26, 1921 – October 28, 2016

Rene passed peacefully at the age of 95 on Tuesday, October 18th. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Robert (Bob) Strand. Proud mother of her three sons, Bob (Deborah), Keith (Elizabeth) and Don. Devoted Grandmother of Neil (Cindy), James and Jacob. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 12th at 2 pm at the Anglican Church of Saint Mary and Saint Martha, 1149 Weston Road. Visitation at 1pm. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bob Rumbal Centre for the Deaf, the Arthritis Society or The Salvation Army.
