God called Irena peacefully on July 23, 2022, at the age of 84.
Devoted wife of the late Andrzej. Beloved mother of Leszek (Michele), Andrew (Doris) and Marzena (Ron). Cherished babcia of Christina, Lisa, Michael, Rachel and David. Loving sister of the late Jerzy (Emilia), Tadeusz (Halina), the late Danusia, the late Krystyna and Ryszard (Aniela).
Irena is now reunited in Heaven with Andrzej, her predeceased siblings and parents, Ludwik and Marta Filipowicz.

Irena will be forever loved and fondly remembered by family and friends.
Visitation will take place at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge on Tuesday, July 26 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 27 from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service in the chapel, at 12:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a future date.
