Ida Domenichiello

Went peacefully to be with our Lord Jesus, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, March 1, 2025. 

Ida was preceded in death by her parents Matteo and Filomena Ciccotelli. Beloved wife of late Saverio. Loving mother to Frank (Frances), Susan (Vince Paterino), Elena and Marco (Kimberly). Proud nonna to Matthew (Alexandra), Jacob (Vanessa), Samuel (Sabrina), Joshua (Lisa), Gabriel, Stefanie, Philip and David.  Cherished bisnonna to James, William, Wesley, Jeremiah, Theodore, Juliette, Naomi and Eliana. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Nicola (late Peppino), Tony (Nina), Giuseppina (late Salvatore), Lucia (Carmelo) and Carmelina (Fabrizio) and her many nieces and nephews. 

 Ida will always be remembered as “The Prayer Warrior” by friends and family. She was devout and faithful to her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, as this was evident right to her last breath. The family enjoyed her delicious handmade cavatelli eaten atop her terrace many a Sunday, after morning church service. Ida always had a sweet smile and word of encouragement for anyone whom she would meet. Her legacy of love and strength will live on in her family. She will be missed dearly.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge on Tuesday from 6-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 10:30 am at Weston Road Pentecostal Church, 3350 Weston Road. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
