Ida Capisciolti

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ida Capisciolti on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved wife to Giuseppe for almost 60 years of marriage. Loving mother of Francesca (Tony), John (Mary), Anna and Diana (Phil) and the late Bruno. Cherished grandmother of Catherine (Nelson), Joey (Demitra), Christian, Sarah (Carlos), David, Jonathan, Amanda, Johnny, Renee and Emma and great-grandmother to Emilio. Dear sister to Orlando (Rosa), Alfredo (Anne) and Dina (Dominic). Ida was very hardworking and devoted to her family; especially her grandchildren who she adored greatly. She loved to cook and enjoyed taking car rides with her beloved Giuseppe. Perhaps most of all though, she was extremely kind and generous to those around her. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends. Visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge) on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
