April 24, 1936 – February 17, 2017

Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, at the age of 80. Predeceased by his beloved wife Peggy. He will be sadly missed by his children Mike (Heidi), Daryl (Ela). Proud grandpa of Rebecca, Jeffrey, Jordan, and Jackson. Will be dearly missed by sister Sandra and brother Barry (Sherry), and many extended family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Monday February 20 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
