It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother (Babcia), Sister, Aunt, and friend Honorata Malinowska on Sunday, February 26, 2023. She is deeply missed by her devoted children Anna & Gino, Jack & Jowita, and Grandchildren Julianna, Milania, Matthew and Lukas.
She leaves behind her sister, Jadwiga and her brother in Poland, Czeslaw, and now joins her parents, Helena and Waclaw and her brother Ryszard. She came to Canada from Poland and worked several jobs to take great care of her family while giving her children a better future in her new world. She loved to travel and experience new cultures. Honorata loved to tell jokes, Laugh and she kept true to her thoughts and words.
She was a very loving, caring, and gentle person, always eager to help. She had charm and possessed a quick wit and adventurous spirit. Honorata embraced life and all its challenges. She will be remembered for her friendly smile and great persona. Honorata will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Thursday, March 2, 2023, between 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, March 3, 2023, 11 AM to 12 PM, followed by a funeral service at noon in the Ward Funeral Home “Woodbridge” Chapel. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery on 7300 ON-27, Woodbridge, just north of Hwy #7 on the west side.
Reception to follow at the Paradise Banquet Hall located at 7601 Jane St., Concord just south of Hwy #7 inside the Prince Room. Memorial Donations, if desired, to the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
