PAKOSH, Hilda (nee Ninowski)— Passed away on July 5th. After a long, deteriorating journey with vascular dementia, our Mother has joined her husband in death, Michael, in her 78th year. She is survived by her daughters Patricia (Chuck) Pollacco, Sandra Pakosh, and her son Howard (Priscille) Pakosh. She was a grandmother to Jordan (Ashley), Jared (Danielle) and Jesse Pollacco, and Jessica, Jeremy and Juliette Pakosh; and a great grandmother to Jade and Keira Pollacco. Hilda also leaves behind brother, Fred (Olga) Ninowski, and many nieces and nephews. Her legacy is a warm smile, hearty laugh, and stories of the farm in her native Saskatchewan. The staff at Post Inn Village is to be thanked for their loving care of Hilda. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8 from 4PM-6PM at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville. According to her wishes, Hilda was cremated. Her interment will take place at the Pakosh family plot at Prospect Cemetery in Toronto on Friday at 11 AM, with a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4076 9th Line (at Burnhamthorpe), Oakville on Friday evening at 7:30 PM.
