Lorinc, Hermina (nee Kriskovic)
Passed away peacefully in God’s loving arms on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 at Kensington Gardens Long Term Care Home at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Ludovit, dear mother of Zoran and his wife Janis. Loving bakica (grandmother) of Erick and Samantha. Beloved sister to Alma Kosar and the late Biserka Matijašić Cherished aunt of Hermina (Mina) Kosar and her partner Brian Katz, Leonardo Matijašić and his wife Ljerka, and Kruno Matijašić. Great aunt (nuna) of Michael McCurdy, and Tajana Matijašić. Hermina was very loved by all her family and will be deeply missed. Hermina worked as a nurses aid for 30 years at West Park Long Term Care Centre. It was there that she worked with the chronically ill patients and those afflicted with Alzheimers disease. Hermina was known for her dedication and kindness, and the patients and the staff at West Park loved her very much. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Kensington Gardens for the loving care Hermina received there. A celebration of Hermina’s life will be held on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at 11am at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, with a reception to follow.
