Henny Jongsma

May 19, 1923 - February 21, 2024

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Bethany Lodge in Unionville, ON in her 101st year.

She was born in Sneek (FR) the Netherlands, married in 1949 to Bauke. They immigrated to Canada in 1951 with their first born daughter Judy.  She was a long standing member of Covenant reformed Church and loved the Lord deeply. 

Predeceased by her husband Bauke (1994), her daughter Judy (2013), and her son Hank (1991).  She is survived by her daughter Dulyn Kamminga, her son and daughter-in-law Sid and Heather Jongsma, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. 

She will be sadly missed by all of her family, friends and church community.  We are grateful for her deep love for the Lord, her generous nature and great sense of humour. She was a blessing to all who knew her. 

Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Rd on Tuesday, February 27th from 7:00-9:00pm.

The interment will be private prior to the Celebration of Life at Covenant Reformed Church, 265 Albion Rd, Etobicoke, ON at 11:00am.
