Henny was born in North Holland in a small village called Hippolytushoef on
April 30, 1935. She was the second child of Evert and Geertje Sikkema. She was one of four children,
Bernie (deceased) Jenny (deceased) and Roelie.
The Sikkema family moved to Canada in 1951. Henny met Dick Boersma and
they married in Brampton on August 31, 1956. They had 6 children.
Richard, Ed (Bonnie) Gerda (Mike) Ken, Danny (deceased 1982) and David.
Henny loved spending time with her grandchildren, Brandon, Helena, Kerri, Danny, Kristy,
Christopher, Braydon and Craig.
She was also blessed with 4 great grandchildren, Greyson, Brinley, Alwyn and Nathan.
Henny's home was always an open door to everyone. It was filled with food, drinks, laughter, singing and good times. What made Henny most happy, was to help others.
She lived her life with strong faith, always rejoicing in the Lord.
Henny really enjoyed travelling with her husband Dick to many places and also seeing family
and friends in Holland.
