Helen Scott Duncan, preceded in death by her loving husband A.C, our beloved mum, nana, and friend to so many, passed peacefully on December 24, 2022.

Helen arrived at anything she did with passion and resolve and always with a twinkle in her eye. Her remedy was a laugh or a smile. She was tough, disciplined and expected your best… all character traits that she herself embodied.

Mom was a Scouse and loved her family so much; her brother David (deceased) and sister Maisie, her sons Scott (Jen) and Iain (Kerry), her step sons and daughters and grandchildren Julie (Rocco), Scott, Alex, Brody, Jonas, Jordan and Kallen and great grandchildren Lena and Kaia and her nieces and nephews.

She loved and was loved by so many; her friends at her condo complex, those she worked beside in her career and on her many worldly travels. A special thank you to Bill for your caring heart, to Alice for your loving care and to Kelly and all of your family for all you have done.

Mum was an accomplished international field hockey player proudly representing Canada and Ontario, she loved tennis, dancing and always a good laugh.

Her life’s work was as a nurse and nursing home administrator where she always put the patient’s care first.



Mum may you rest peacefully in heaven reunited with A.C, David and your parents knowing that your work is now done. The kettle will always be on. Well done luv.
