GREEN, Hazel
Peacefully on Monday December 31, 2012 in her 94th year. She was born in Montreal and moved to Brampton with her husband in 1946. She was a Life Member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary at Branch 15 Brampton for over 66 years, member of the branch for 32 years, and member of the L.O.B.A. for 65 years. Member of Christ Church since 1946. Predeceased by her husband George (1955) and daughter Georgina (2005) and four brothers. Loving Mother of Margaret Rose Green, Brampton, Grandmother to five; Brian, Brenda, Cathy, Sandra and Linda. Great-grandmother to ten, great-great-grandmother to three. Also several nieces and nephews in Montreal and British Columbia. Hazel will be sadly missed by her special friends, especially Judy Stinson. Hazel was a long time cook at Hunt’s Fish and Chips. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “ Brampton Chapel” 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10 ) Brampton on Thursday January 3, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Auxiliary and L.O.B.A. services to begin at 7 pm. Hazel’s funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am in the chapel. Interment to follow at Brampton Cemetery.
