Beloved husband and best friend of Catherine F. Tivey. Proud and loving father of Douglas, Donald (Susan) and David (Julie). Devoted Grandfather of Cynthia, Christopher, Matthew, Kristin, Jennifer, Jessica, Katie, Robyn and James. Proud Great Grandfather of Sam, Duncan, Ben, Cole, Callum, Will, Ethan and Isla-Jane. Brother of Gordon, Waterloo Bruce, Barrie and Roy, Vera, and Helen deceased.

Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Private family service will be held on Friday, November 19th, 2010 at 1p.m. in the Ward Chapel.
